SARAH R. LOTFI

A ‘medievalist’ by passion, and a filmmaker by craft, Sarah’s career is marked by stories told through the lens of history. Her award-winning WWII film MENSCHEN, streams on iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play. Her screenplay HEARD was a quarterfinalist with American Gem. An alumnus of Iceland's Transatlantic Talent Lab, she has worked on HBO's CINEMA VERITE, and Chloe Zhao's THE RIDER. With a background in theater, costuming, and painting, Evan's approach to filmmaking is multi-faceted. While building a reputation as a highly reliable and honest video producer, Evan's work has included commercials, children's educational content, infotainment, and short films. His award-winning short, PRIVILEDGE was a collaboration with cinematographer David Grauberger and screened at the Napa Valley Film Festival, Orlando Film Festival, and Denver FIlm Festival. A craftsman by nature, David is always looking for that elusive creative spark to reveal his subjects motivations, fears, and triumphs. David has filmed projects around the world from the all corners of the US to South and Central America, to France, Germany, and Ireland and as well as the Middle East and Africa. His clients include: NBC, PBS, Nat Geo Music TV, Trek Bikes, Ironman, Rodrigo y Gabriela, and Country Music Hall of Fame. David’s short films have been officially selected to the Napa Valley Film Festival, Orlando Film Festival, Breckenridge Film Festival, and Denver Film Festival. In 2012 and 2014 David was nominated for the Emmy in 'Outstanding Camerawork' for his work on NBC's Ironman Kona camera team. www.daviddp.com
DANIEL VENDT
COMPOSER
Daniel Vendt is a film and television composer in Los Angeles. His music has appeared on shows such as BUILDING WILD, DIE TRYING, SCRAPPERS, and LUCKY DOG. He has a BA in Music Composition from Illinois Wesleyan University and an MFA in Music for Film and Television from Columbia College Chicago. Daniel also works in reality television post production; he was part of the editing team for four seasons of TLC's OUT DAUGHTERED, recently edited an episode of the new HGTV show RENO MY RENTAL, and was a supervising editor of Netflix's WORLD'S MOST AMAZING VACATION RENTALS. This is his fourth musical collaboration with Sarah Lotfi.

As a filmmaker originally hailing from France, David spends his time crafting movies in his color studio. Having worked with a wide variety of celluloid and digital film materials over his 30-year career in the US and Europe, David's command of the technical aspects of filmmaking allows him to focus on bringing the story at hand to life. KNIGHT TO QUEEN is no exception: with its basis in French history, he took a particular interest in bringing the director's and cinematographer's vision to the big screen.
